MP to get mega NABARD loan for priority sector projects

Bhopal: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development has estimated a credit potential of a whopping Rs 2,58,598 crore in the priority sectors for 2023-24 for accelerating Madhya Pradesh’s development, it was officially learnt on Tuesday.
This figure is approximately 6.43 per cent higher than this fiscal. This vital aspect was highlighted here by NABARD’s Regional Office during the State Debt Seminar. The sector-wise break-up is Rs 1,80,160 cr for the agrarian sphere; Rs 65,832 cr for MSME and Rs 12,606 cr for other priority sectors.
In the words of state Finance Minister Jagdish Deora, “Farming has been the sole sector that maintained rate of growth even during the pandemic.” (UNI)
