Hyderabad, April 21: The sudden heavy unseasonal rains in the city on Thursday evening affected the normal flight operations from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here. At least four flights were diverted since the inclement weather made landings at the RGIA. Heavy rain flowed by thunder and lightning that lashed parts of the city mostly on the outskirts and nearby districts. The people of Hyderabad, who have been suffering from severe heat waves for the last few days, got some relief from the sudden cloudburst. The highest rainfall of 16.5mm was recorded at Balanagar in the city till 8 pm. (UNI)
