Jaipur, April 14: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday accused the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre of not following the Constitution and using the Central agencies against their dissenters. Talking to reporters here, the Chief Minister said that the whole world sees India’s Constitution with reverence. “However, they (government) are tearing it apart. They remember Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar just for the show-off. People should give them a befitting reply at the earliest otherwise it will cause harm to society at large,” he added. He said the country is run by the rule of law, which is not being followed now. The Constitution is being flouted and democracy has been put in danger. CBI, ED and Income Tax have carried out raids across the nation, he added. Talking about the Karauli violence, he said “No one, even the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister have this right to demolish somebody’s house without any investigation, without finding someone guilty.” Calling the Karauli district violence, which occurred on April 2, unfortunate, Gehlot said, “BJP leaders are fanning the issue for their political gain.
