Bengaluru, Feb 20 (UNI) Karnataka Congress is in contravention of its party unit in Rajasthan over PFI. While Congress gave permission to PFI to hold protest in Rajasthan on its anniversary a couple of days ago, Karnataka party unit alleged that the radical Islamist organization is hand-in-glove with BJP in the state. Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President DK Shivakumar has called People’s Front of India “B Team” of the BJP and KPCC Working President Saleem Ahmed demanded banning the radical Islamist organization. Shivakumar alleged that the Basavaraj Bommai government is protecting PFI to polarize the communities to reap political dividends. Meanwhile, Ahmed said that the BJP also were hand-in-glove with radical organizations like Socialist Democratic Party of India (SDPI) and asked the government to ban them. “This is a conspiracy because BJP and SDPI are hand-in-glove. We have been appealing to government to ban all those organizations and parties which are creating communal hatred like SDPI, Campus Front of India (CFI) and other Hindu outfits. The government should take a firm stand. Take a decision to ban all those organizations and parties which create communal hatred,” he said. Yesterday Revenue Minister R Ashoka had accused Congress of avoiding the discussion on hijab during the ongoing assembly session because there are differences between Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah over the issue. While Shivakumar wants the Congress leaders avoid making any comments on hijab, Siddaramaiah is keen on it.
