Priyanka holds marathon meetings with Cong workers in Lucknow

Lucknow, Sep 10 (UNI) Congress general secretary and in-charge of Uttar Pradesh’s party unit Priyanka Gandhi Vadra conducted a series of marathon meetings with party leaders here on Friday to draw the strategy for the next year State Assemble Polls.
Congress party has decided to carry out ‘Pratigya Yatra’ with the tagline– ‘Hum Vachan Nibhayenge’– across Uttar Pradesh from October.
The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is in the state capital on a two-day visit.
Congress leaders here on Friday said this yatra will cover around 12,000 kms.
The route of the yatra is being finalised.
Sources say the Yatra will be focusing intensely on the potential seats.
After holding meeting with the party advisors and senior leaders, she is holding another marathon meeting with zonal leaders. At the time of filing the story, the meeting was still underway.
She asked all the leaders and workers to work 24 hours to make party stronger in the state. According to sources, Priyanka said that the state party unit’s opinion would be taken for distribution of tickets in assembly polls.
She did a thorough review of 143 blocks of Purvanchal.
She is scheduled to hold discussions with party leaders of Bundelkhand zone later tonight, sources added.
