474 Government School Students Clear NEET Exam
Punjab Education Minister Credits Kejriwal, CM; SSP’s Wife Congratulates Students……
Punjab : A total of 474 students from government schools in Punjab have successfully cleared the NEET 2025 examination, marking a major achievement for public education in the state. Punjab’s Education Minister lauded the accomplishment and attributed the success to the visionary leadership of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He emphasized that educational reforms and investment in government school infrastructure, along with quality teaching and mentorship programs, played a critical role in this milestone.
During a press conference held in Chandigarh, the Education Minister highlighted that these students, many of whom come from rural and underprivileged backgrounds, have set an example by proving that with the right guidance and resources, government school students can perform on par with those from private institutions. The state government has been actively working to improve the standard of education through initiatives like free NEET coaching, digital classrooms, and regular teacher training programs.
Interestingly, the success story also drew attention from the law enforcement community. The wife of a senior SSP (Senior Superintendent of Police) posted a heartfelt congratulatory message on social media, expressing pride in the students’ achievements and highlighting how this reflects positively on Punjab’s educational development. She mentioned that this is not just a win for the students but also a morale booster for families who have long invested their hopes in the power of education.
The celebration comes at a time when the education sector is under national scrutiny, and Punjab’s success is being hailed as a model for other states. Many educational activists and political leaders have taken to social media to share their appreciation and support for these students.
The Education Minister further stated that the government will provide additional support and scholarships to NEET qualifiers from government schools, ensuring that financial limitations do not hinder their path to becoming future doctors. Plans are also underway to introduce similar programs for engineering and civil service aspirants in the coming academic sessions.
This landmark success has instilled fresh confidence in the public education system and reaffirmed the importance of good governance, inclusive policies, and community support in shaping the future of young India.
