Coming ahead of the LS polls, the bill ticks off an important item on BJP's agenda- a common law on marriage, divorce, land, property, and inheritance for all citizens, irrespective of their religion.

On Tuesday, the Election Commission announced that the Ajit Pawar faction is the real NCP, in a major setback to party founder Sharad Pawar.

Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar pointed out the need for having a legislation in place that would democratise India’s vast internet space.
