Gadkari opens 550 km roads, bridge over Betwa in MP
Orchha (MP): Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated 18 National Highway projects with total length of 550 km and worth Rs 6,800 crore here on Monday, it was officially learnt.
Speaking on the occasion, the visiting leader said, “A two-decade-old demand for a bridge over the Betwa has been fulfilled. There will be easy connectivity to reach tourist destinations including Khajuraho, Panna, Chitrakoot, Tikamgarh and Sanchi.”
He also announced laying of a four-lane, 105-km-long greenfield road from Bamitha to Satna at a cost of Rs 2,000 crores.
