Mahindra Auto sales rises by 45 per cent in Nov. ’22
Mumbai: Auto major, Mahindra & Mahindra on Thursday said its overall auto sales for the month of November 2022 rose by 45 percent to 58,303 vehicles as compared with 40,102 vehicles sold in November 2021.
The Passenger Vehicles segment (which includes UVs, Cars and Vans) reported a rise of 56 percent at 30,392 vehicles in November 2022 as compared with 19458 vehicles sold in the same month a year ago, a rise of 56 percent.
Exports for the month were at 3,122 vehicles. In the Commercial Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold 19,591 vehicles in November 2022.
According to Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., “Our sales volume continued to grow in November powered by robust demand across our portfolio. We sold 30,238 SUVs in November, registering a growth of 56 per cent. We have also registered a strong growth of 31 per cent in our Commercial Vehicles. The supply chain situation continues to be dynamic due to continuing international disruptions. We are keeping a close watch and are taking appropriate steps.’ (UNI)
