Bihar: Four labourers killed, 12 injured in boiler blast
Muzaffarpur, Dec 26: Four laborers were killed and 12 others sustained serious injuries when a boiler exploded in a noodles factory in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar on Sunday, police said.
District Senior Superintendentof Police (SSP) Jayant Kant said here that the tragedy occurred when the boiler at the noodles factory in phase 2 of the Bela industrial area under Bela police station exploded.
At least four labourers were killed and 12 others were injured in the incident, he added.
The SSP said the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the injured were hospitalised.
None of the deceased have been identified so far.
Relief and rescue operation was going on in full swing, Kant said.
The reason behind the blast was still unknown. An investigation was on, he informed.
