Haryana : In a significant boost to employment prospects in Haryana, nearly 10,000 youths are expected to secure government jobs in the coming weeks. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is likely to release the results of various recruitment examinations, including Group-D, by June 30. This announcement comes as a ray of hope for thousands of candidates who have been eagerly waiting for updates.

Among the total vacancies, 7,596 posts are reserved under Group-D, which includes positions across multiple departments such as education, health, public works, and transport. These roles are considered entry-level government jobs and are crucial for maintaining day-to-day administrative functions in the state. The remaining posts belong to different categories like clerical staff, technical assistants, and field officers.

The recruitment process has been underway for several months, and candidates have already appeared for written examinations. HSSC sources have indicated that the evaluation of answer sheets is in its final stages, and the merit list is being prepared. The delay in results had earlier sparked frustration among job seekers, but this recent update has renewed their optimism.

Officials from the Haryana government confirmed that this recruitment drive is part of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s commitment to generate employment for the state’s youth. With the 2025 assembly elections approaching, this mass hiring could also be seen as a strategic move to win the support of young voters.

The state government has been working to digitize the recruitment process and make it more transparent. Aadhaar-based biometric verification and a Common Eligibility Test (CET) have been implemented to ensure fairness and reduce the chances of fraud. The Group-D positions also fall under the new CET framework, which allows candidates to apply for multiple government vacancies through a single test score.

Once the results are announced, successful candidates will be informed through the official HSSC portal, and document verification will begin shortly after. Appointments are expected to be made by the end of July.

This job announcement is expected to ease unemployment woes and provide financial stability to many families across Haryana.
