Minister MS Thakur backtracks his remarks, calling it a joke !

Shimla, Jul 6 (UNI) The ruling party in the state seemed to be in defensive mode after strong protest
by the teachers’ unions and opposition and its ramifications in upcoming bye-elections of the state.
The Irrigation And Public Health (IPH) Minister Mahinder Singh Thakur who passed a sarcastic and blunt statement in a public platform against the teaching community at large did not bother to seek the public apology so farm, however, a vernacular reported him stating that he was making fun while giving this statement.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur did not defend his cabinet colleague however party seemed to be in
defensive mood after it evoked strong protest from various quarters ahead of elections in one Parliamentary
and two assembly seats.
The party did not want anybody to press this issue longer to stop its ramifications in the bye-elections. CPI (M) state secretariat member Dr Kuldeep Singh Tanwar responded to ministers new statement that why Mr Mohinder Singh Thakur is being so Cynic, sarcastic and nagging these days.
Mr Tanwar Facebook post was liked and commented by number of people. One of the comment posted in response to this post by Aswanki Kumar Thakur states that it is owing to megalomaniac attitude of minister. One of the liker of this post Manmohan Singh states that actually he is psychopath suffering from schizophrenia need a psychiatrist.
S R Rana writes that many factors like exponential growth in stature and wealth from Sepoy to contractor and then powerful minister have contributed to be narcissistic and megalomaniac personality.
Some of others posts also indicates that it is because his political end is imminent.
A Political expert told UNI that in the political circles, the performance of the ministers is also rated very low as during last two months during the second wave, the minister rates the performance of Government employees negligible baring IPH employees.
The party or Governments did not want to be with Mr Thakur as it did not responded or defended to his statements so far.
The clipping of ministers’ statement had gone viral in the social media which indicated that it would left strong impact on the society at large as social media is main tools on which BJP itself ride to power in last Assembly and Parliamentary elections.
