Parasailing in India

Parasailing, also known as parascending or parakiting, is a recreational kiting activity where a person is towed behind a vehicle (usually a boat) while attached to a specially designed canopy wing that reminds one of a parachute, known as a parasail wing. The speed of the powerful boat is what will make you rise above the water.

Parasailing is more stable and efficient during the ascent mode when being towed overhead with minimum or zero steering control by the parasailor. A scenic and fairly relaxing extreme sport, parasailing is a popular holiday activity and suitable for newcomers.

Though it is a watersport, riders don’t have to know how to swim in order to parasail, since the rise and drop take place on a boat platform. The span of the ride is regularly around eight to ten minutes, but it can vary based on company and how many other riders are waiting for a turn. The average boat speed is between 15 and 30 miles per hour, but from up above, speed isn’t noticed. While soaring like a bird, do remember to pay attention to the boat deck from time to time. The only means of communication with the crew will typically be through hand or arm gestures, which should be practiced prior to ascending.

Major precautions are important for the sport to perform, it is required to know everything about your parasail wing. Parasailing is enjoyable for all ages so enjoying the experience the best way anyone can, should be the motto.
