Nadda on 7th Anniv. of NDA: BJP helping people, Oppn downgrading nation
We followed ‘Sabka-Saath, Sabka-Vikas, Sabka-Vishwas’ PM Narendra Modi said in his Mann ki Baat.
New Delhi, May 30 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party national president J P Nadda on Sunday said his party is observing the seventh anniversary at the Centre by serving people with COVID-19 relief material while Opposition is doing nothing but to put the nation down during the hour of crisis.
“In this pandemic, BJP workers, without being bothered about their wellbeing, are standing with the people. But the Opposition has gone into lockdown and quarantined itself. It is visible only in virtual press conferences or on Twitter,” Mr Nadda said while addressing the party workers virtually.
“But we don’t have to get bothered by them and continue in our endeavor to serve people and help them during the pandemic,” he said.
The BJP is not celebrating the day but observing it by distributing COVID-19 relief materials and organizing camps. It has termed the day as “seva divas”.
He said everyone including the Union Ministers is on the roads and helping the people.
Training his guns against the Opposition over the vaccination drive, he said,” They were the ones who questioned the vaccines during the launch and tried to instill fear but now expressing concern.”
He mentioned that the central government has extended free ration to the poor and now will take care of orphans who lost their patients from COVID-19.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his monthly radio broadcast – ‘Mann Ki Baat’, claimed that his government followed the mantra ‘Sabka-Saath, Sabka-Vikas, Sabka-Vishwas’ (everyone’s cooperation, development, trust).
‘My dear countrymen, today on 30th May we are having ‘Mann Ki Baat’ and incidentally, it also marks the completion of 7 years of the government. Over these years, the country has followed the mantra of ‘Sabka-Saath, Sabka-Vikas, Sabka-Vishwas’,’ Mr Modi said in Hindi.
However, Congress alleged that the achievements of the NDA government in these seven years were job crisis, slumping of the economy, demonetisation, running the institution and democracy, face-off with China, COVID-19 miss-management and shortage of vaccines.
