Media offices destroyed in Israeli airstrike, in Gaza strip

Gaza, May 15 (UNI) A building housing the offices of the Associated Press and Al Jazeera news outlets was demolished following an airstrike by the Israel on Saturday afternoon.
“The Israeli Air Force completely destroyed the al-Jala high-rise building in Gaza City, which housed a number of international media such as the Associated Press and Al-Jazeera,” Sputnik said quoting a source.
The report further said that earlier in the day Israel had warned the companies based in the building of an imminent attack within one hour, causing panic among employees and local residents, who fled to the streets.
The tower block also contained a number of apartments and other offices.
