Minister KTR sends Legal Notices to Revanth Reddy and Bandi Sanjay over TSPSC allegations

Hyderabad: Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister, KT Rama Rao, has sent legal notices to TPCC President Revanth Reddy and Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay over their statements regarding the issue of TSPSC paper leakage.
The notices warn them to face a defamation suit of Rs. 100 crores if they do not withdraw their allegations and issue a public apology.
KTR’s lawyer stated that both leaders had cast aspersions on the minister and attempted to damage his reputation. The notice also stated that unless the leaders refrain from making such defamatory statements and apologize, KTR will proceed with legal action and file a defamation suit in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
Earlier, KTR had accused Revanth and Sanjay of proving their ignorance by dragging the Telangana government and himself into the issue of paper leakage without understanding the autonomous nature of the constitutionally constituted Public Service Commission. He also alleged that the BJP and Congress were conspiring to stall the entire recruitment process and that Revanth and Sanjay had termed the Telangana government’s job notifications a conspiracy. He further stated that their comments suggesting that the youth should put aside their preparation and get into politics reflect the deceitful mentality of these leaders. (UNI)
