World’s largest book fair kicks off in Frankfurt

Frankfurt: The 74th Frankfurt Book Fair, the largest of its kind in the world, has opened here.
The book fair is projected to draw roughly 4,000 exhibitors from 95 countries and regions. It began on Tuesday.
The organizers stressed that the book fair should be a place of discourse and togetherness in times of crisis and instability, said Juergen Boos, President and CEO of the Frankfurt Book Fair.
Spain is this year’s guest of honor. Around 200 authors and creatives from Spain will present their books at the fair, which ends on Sunday. (UNI/XINHUA)
