AIMIM UP unit Prez, 2 others booked for derogatory remarks against Hindus

Sambhal (UP): A case has been lodged against Uttar Pradesh unit president of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Shaukat Ali and two others for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus on Saturday, police sources said.
Police sources said Akshit Agarwal, a resident of Sheton Wali Gali, lodged a complaint that district president Ashad Abdullah organised a meeting of the party workers at the residence of Chaudhary Musheer Khan on Friday in connection with the local body meeting.
Police sources said in his complaint Agarwal has alleged that during the meeting the state president of AIMIM Shaukat Ali gave objectionable speech against the Hindu religion, saints and seers and women, which had hurt the sentiments of the community. “He have given a copy of the speech along with this complaint,” they said.
A video of AIMIM state president Shaukat Ali also went viral on social media in which he could be seen making derogatory remarks.
