Filling up of all vacant posts in Andaman and Nicobar Administration is one of the most sensitive issues.
All political parties in Andaman and Nicobar Islands have already raised this issue on different platforms in the last few years.
As per a rough estimate, more than 9000 posts in different departments and ranks have been lying vacant in Andaman and Nicobar Administration for the last more than four to five years.
As Congress, BJP and CPI(M) etc. parties have already raised this issue many times, it appears that vacant posts will be a big issue in the 2024 general elections. (UNI)
