People in HP are with BJP: Nadda

BJP election ready: Anurag Thakur

Hamirpur (HP): While patting the party cadre for strongly and unitedly facing the challenges of the opposition parties from time to time, BJP National President, JP Nadda expressed optimism that a strong wind is in the favour of the BJP and the party would sweep the coming elections with ease. However, no laxity in this matter to be made, he said.
Nadda was addressing more than 1,700 elected representatives of PRI institutions and urban local bodies having allegiance with the party and drawn from all the seventeen assembly constituencies of the Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat being represented by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister, Anurag Thakur.
Thakur was also present in the function. Avinash Rai Khanna, the state in charge of party affairs, and Trilok Jamwal, the state general secretary also attended the meeting.
Nadda said the BJP was a cadre-based organization and one of the biggest elected representative bodies in the World and that was why it had been able to elect such a large number of elected representatives in all bodies right from a ward panch to that of Zila Parishad members.
He said with the massive support of the grassroot workers and their families, no other party could match the BJP. But for this, the entire team had to remain united and focus on their own booths rather than poking about the work of others. He said even a minor mistake could harm the cause of the organization and that should be avoided.
Nadda exhorted the party cadre to see that people were not misguided by the propaganda of the opposition mainly the Congress party. He said the Congress party was in the habit of first making things worse and thereafter blaming others for that when they were out of power. He said that time had come when people should be guided about the working of the party and what the double-engine government had done for them since the BJP assumed power at the Centre and in the state.
The BJP Supremo said India had progressed much under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. He said while Corona pandemic had been controlled fully in India, there were many countries in World that were facing its wrath. Most of them claimed to be superpowers. However, it was possible due to the strong determination of the Prime Minister and his team that this epidemic was controlled.
He said that the state of Himachal Pradesh was credited for becoming the first state in India to complete its vaccination program ahead of others and thereby curbing the epidemic.
Nadda had a dig at the Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi for his Bharat Jodo yatra and said in fact, he was moving out to divide the nation at the behest of the foreign powers and more over wanted to show the people that he is Rahul Gandhi as the people had forgotten him due to his misdeeds. He said there was a need to expose the Congress people who were taking out such yatras in the state too. He said they had become frustrated without power and that was why they were on yatras to collect money and sympathy from the people, which they would not get.
Speaking on occasion, Union Minister, Anurag Thakur said BJP is the party of the masses and will achieve the ‘Mission repeat 2022’ with the help and blessings of the state people and the party cadre. He said the Congress party and other parties had no policies and programs for the people. Their main aim was to grab the power and mint the money for themselves and their families.
Avinash Rai Khanna, the state in charge of the party affairs said it was laudable that the All India party chief belongs to the Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat and his blessings would be helpful for the party and the cadre in the coming elections.
He said he (Nadda) was the only National President of any party who used to visit his home state and home frequently, otherwise, leaders of other parties go on such visits rarely.
Khanna gave a clarion call to the party cadre to move to the field and ensure that the party was able to win the elections with a little effort. (UNI)
