Differences between JD(U) & RJD come to fore after resignation of Agriculture Minister

Patna: Former Bihar Minister and senior BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain on Sunday said that differences between JD(U) and RJD came to fore after resignation of Agriculture Minister Sudhakar Singh from cabinet.
Hussain told media persons here that Singh was forced to resign from the post of Agriculture Minister by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Kumar was feeling uneasy over the statements of Singh who continued to embarrass the government by openly saying that all officials of his department were corrupt, he added.
BJP leader said that Singh had also dubbed Agriculture Road maps rolled out by government as complete failures.
Singh was a Minister from RJD quota and his resignation had exposed differences between JD(U) and RJD, he added.
On the other hand, JD(U) parliamentary board chairman Upendra Kushwaha while reacting over the resignation of Singh, said that state RJD president Jagadanand Singh should clarify what he meant by his remark that his son had resigned from the cabinet to avoid fight from aggravating further.
What was the real issue in government which led to resignation of Singh, was not known to him, he pointed out. (UNI)
