HP Youth Cong seeks inquiry into the death of party activist

Hamirpur (HP): Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress on Thursday demanded an inquiry into the alleged murder of a Congress party activist in the Haroli area of the Una district two days ago.
Dr. Chandan Rana, social media in charge of the Youth Congress, said that the ‘law and order situation had badly crippled the state and the government was doing nothing to control the situation’. He said that the ‘murder’ of a Congress worker after the Haroli firing incident had exposed the ‘failed law and order situation in the state’.
Rana said that Haroli, the assembly constituency on the Punjab border, was known for its development model in Himachal, but the BJP government today made this area a haven for goons and mafia. The mining mafia, and drug mafia, the killing mafia have been active in this area only under the rule of the BJP government. It is very unfortunate that an active Congress worker was killed in his own village, even after 3 days have passed.
Dr. Chandan Rana said that as there is an electoral environment in the state at this time, leaders and workers work in their areas throughout the day and late at night. The police administration should take the responsibility of ensuring the security of his team and youth workers. (UNI)
