Johnson draws standing ovation in UK Parliament

London: UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Wednesday received a standing ovation from Tory MPs following his final Prime Minister Questions in Parliament.
“I want to thank everybody here, and Hasta la Vista, Baby!”, BBC quoted him as saying.
‘Hasta la Vista’ is a Spanish phrase that means ‘see you later’ and can also be used to mean goodbye.
He ended his speech by reminding the Commons of his huge Tory majority and said: “Mission largely accomplished”.
He also had a peace of advice for his successor, saying: “Stay close to the US, stick up for the Ukrainians and stick up for freedom and democracy everywhere.” (UNI)
