BJP President Nadda arrives in Hyderabad ahead of party’s National Exec. meeting

BJP to organize roadshow with PM and top leaders in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: BJP national President JP Nadda arrived at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad here Friday evening ahead of the National Executive Meeting.
On his arrival at the airport along with the senior leaders, Nadda was welcomed by state BJP President Bandi Sanjay and other senior leaders.
Later, a massive roadshow was conducted from the airport to HICC, the venue of National Executive Meeting (NEC), where Nadda inaugurated a photo exhibition depicting Telangana’s culture, heritage, armed struggle and movement for independence.
Nadda will meet with national general secretaries and national office bearers tomorrow morning to go over the agenda for the two-day executive meeting.
All preparations are in place for the BJP’s two-day national executive meeting, which will take place on July 2 and 3 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC).
Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the meeting will include CMs and Deputy CMs from BJP-ruled states, union ministers, and party presidents from all states. The meeting will be attended by 350 delegates, including 14 from Telangana.
After the NEC meetings, Prime Minister Modi will address the Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha at Police Parade Grounds, Secunderabad on July 3rd evening.
Full proof arrangements are being made at HICC with the Special Protection Group (SPG) in the wake of PM Modi’s three-day stay here.
Meanwhile, with the party leadership expecting a huge turnout for the PM’s rally on July 3, the state unit is mobilizing a gathering of around 10 lakh people at the parade grounds where the public meeting will be held.
The NEC meeting of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is going to be held in Hyderabad, the capital of the youngest state of India after 18 years.
In 2004, the then Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee attended the meet along with the party’s highest policy-making forum in Hyderabad. The then deputy prime minister LK Advani also addressed a rally at the Sardar Patel Parade Grounds. (UNI)
