Mah. Powerplay: BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis meets Guv., seeks floor test

Pune/Mumbai: Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Assembly Devendra Fadnavis today met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and urged him to conduct floor test of MVA government.
Talking to reporters after meeting with the governor, Fadnavis said that the present MVA government in Maharashtra has reduced in minority since 39 Shiv Sena MLAs have left Uddhav Thackeray and they are staying in Guwahati. Therefore, we have demanded to governor to call floor test to prove the majority by MVA led Uddhav Thackeray government.
Mr. Fadnavis also said that he has given many references of Supreme Court in the letter given to governor.
Though the Governor has not yet given the fixed date for the floor test, it is learned that Koshyari can announce the date very soon for the floor test. (UNI)
