Shiv Sena activists blacken poster of MLA Sanjay Shirsat in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra: Expressing their anger towards rebels MLAs, the Shiv Sena activists on Sunday put a black ink on the poster of party MLA Aurangabad West Sanjay Shirsat at Padegaon locality, falling in his constituency, of the city.
Shirsat was elected for three consecutive terms from the said constituency and is known to be very close to rebel leader Eknath Shinde, who had written a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray which went viral on social media on June 23, in which he raised a number of questions to Thackeray.
Today, senior Shiv Sena leader Chandrakant Khaire in his address to media condemned the act of rebel group and expressed confidence that the Sena will emerge once again.
Due to rebellion, the Shiv Sainiks in the state have become very aggressive, started vandalizing rebel MLAs’ offices or posters in different parts of the state, especially in Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Osmanabad and other places.
Two days back, the Sainiks in Aurangabad had also blackened posters of EGS Minister S. Bhumre (Paithan MLA) near his office. (UNI)
