Amara Raja to invest $ one billion in lithium-ion batteries

Tirupathi: Amara Raja Group intends to invest $1 billion in building up its capabilities to manufacture lithium-ion batteries over the next 5-10 years.
In his address at the Davos World Economic Forum annual meeting this week Co-founder and Chairman, Jayadev Galla and TDP Parliamentary leader highlighted on recent havoc in Indian farming sector caused by climate change and global warming,
He emphasized the need for green policies and environmental promotions strategies to warn of calamities etc. n save Indian farmers and cities from flooding.
The four-day session from May 23 to May 26, the conclave is one of global events on the financial calendar and draws the who’s who of the world’s leaders, economists, policymakers and captains of industry.
