SP, BSP & Congress feared to visit or even talk about Ayodhya: Yogi

Congress, did not want the 500-years-old Ram Mandir issue to be resolved,

chants of Jai Sriram all through the roads of Ayodhya. Flower petals were showered on him while the buildings were full of people to see and greet him. The CM went on to say that not only is a grand Ram temple being built, but the entire Ayodhya city is being established as the most beautiful city with the presence of an international airport and a medical college. “We named the region Ayodhya linking it with Lord Rama, earlier the place had no identity”, he said. Stating that the previous governments deprived the region from electricity, the CM remarked, “Ye suryavanshiyon ki bhumi hai aur inhone yahin pe surya ko aane se rokne ki koshish ki hai.” Today, the entire place is getting an uninterrupted supply of electricity without any kind of discrimination, he added. Yogi Adityanath launched a frontal attack at the SP, BSP and the Congress for playing with the faith of the Hindus and crushing their religious sentiments. Lashing out at the opposition parties, the Chief Minister said, “Could Congress construct Ayodhya’s Ram Temple? Could BSP do it? Could ‘Babua’ do it? Will those who opened fire at Ram bhakts, build it? Will those, who locked Ram Temple, build it? Who is building it? The double engine government of BJP.” Reiterating that the BJP governments are ensuring welfare of the poor and are establishing Ram-Rajya, Yogi said, “Samajwadi Party is with terrorists. They don’t want the state to develop. BJP’s double engine government is working to establish a ‘Ram Rajya’.” Yogi Adityanath said that the opposition, essentially the Congress, did not want the 500 year-old Ram Mandir issue to be resolved, believing that would end their politics. “They not only deprived Indians and Ayodhya of Ram Temple but also deprived the people of Ayodhya from electricity, food, houses and toilet facilities,” he added. Yogi said ‘Ram Rajya’ is the true example of good governance. “It is a state where there is no discrimination. Connecting the poor with welfare schemes of the government and guaranteeing security is also Ram Rajya, PM Modi at the Centre, and all BJP ruling states are making sincere efforts in this direction” he said. Enumerating the welfare schemes, the CM said that the poor are being provided free houses, toilets, electricity and gas connections. BJP’s attempt is to connect every citizen with the mainstream, he said. Yogi said that the double engine government of UP waived loans of over 50,400 farmers from Ayodhya. Similarly, 3,69,328 farmers of Ayodhya are getting Rs 6,000 annually under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Nearly 48,500 people got houses in the district under the PM/CM Awas Yojana, he pointed out. Stating that Uttar Pradesh needs a strong, forceful, fearless and determined government like the BJP, Yogi said, “the state no more needs a spineless and a weak government like that of SP’s.” Terming Ayodhya as “our identity”, the chief minister said once people hesitated in visiting Ayodhya and doubted the very existence of Lord Ram and questioned the need of having a Ram temple there. “But have you seen how the UP government organized the grand Deepotsava in Ayodhya? We attracted the country and the world towards Deepawali in Ayodhya by making the festival an event,” the chief minister pointed out. He went on to say that by establishing Ayodhya’s identity globally through the grand Ram Temple, not only the tourism potential of the region has increased but also, the economy of poor craftsmen and artisans in Ayodhya who make earthen diyas have got a major boost. Accusing the opposition parties of isolating themselves from people during the pandemic, Adityanath said, “At the time of COVID-19, the Union and state governments and BJP public representatives ventured out to serve people but nothing was known about opposition leaders. All of them were in home isolation and self-quarantine. When these people did not reach out to you at the time of crisis, they should be asked to keep aloof in elections as well. They were on Twitter during the pandemic and they will be given replies on Twitter itself.” Lambasting the opposition for trading in politics of lies and misleading people on Covid vaccine, Yogi said that it was because of the same ‘Modi/BJP vaccine’ that the third wave of the virus ended in no time. The Chief Minister assured that if the BJP government is formed, free LPG will be given to every poor during Diwali and Holi. He also said that a free scooty will be provided to meritorious daughters. The amount of money given under Kanya Sumangala Yojana will be increased to Rs 25,000 while under the Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana, Rs 1 lac will be transferred. Maintaining that the development of the youth is BJP’s topmost priority the Chief Minister promised free digital access to all two crore youths along with smartphones/tablets and Abhyudaya coaching centers for the youth preparing for various entrance examinations. “In the next five years, the BJP will work to connect one member of every family with a job, employment, or self-employment scheme,” he added. “They’re (Opposition) trying their best to stop BJP, but BJP has your (public’s) blessings. We will cross the 325-seat mark in UP again, but it can only happen when BJP’s lotus will bloom in the holy land of Ayodhya,” concluded the CM
