Joginder Mann to Sidhu: Does your Punjab Model patronize corrupt and anti-SC leaders ?

Phagwara, Jan 2 (UNI) Former Punjab minister and Punjab Agro Industries Corporation Chairman Joginder Singh Mann on Sunday questioned Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu that will his ‘Punjab Model’ patronise corrupt politicians who have usurped the money meant for the welfare of poor and downtrodden.
Talking to UNI, Mann expressed surprised as how the self proclaimed idealist Navjot Sidhu can share the stage with a person who has been indicted by a senior most officer of the state government for embezzling money meant for post matric scholarship scheme. He reminded Sidhu that this embezzlement had led to the ruining of careers of several bright students from the SC community.
He said that what can be more shameful than this that instead of acting against the perpetrator of this heinous crime the President of state congress is promoting the same person.
He said that it reflects that the state Congress President is insensitive towards the issues pertaining to the SC brethren. He said that this retrogressive step of the state congress President has bruised the psyche of every common man especially those hailing from the SC community. He said that Sidhu should apologize to the SC community for hurting their sentiments by sharing stage with someone who is inimical to the interests of the community and Congress party.
He categorically said that today’s action of the state Congress President will act as the last nail in the coffin of the Congress party as it will be routed out from the entire state. He said that Sidhu is playing with fire by his actions and the SC community will not forgive him for shielding those who have tried to ruin their younger generations. He also said that he will raise this matter in front on Congress high command and seek its intervention for checking this irreparable damage.
