SC Collegium recommends 14 names for elevation as judges of High Courts

New Delhi, Nov 15 (UNI) The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the 14 names for elevation as judges of the High Courts.
According to the apex court’s website, Delhi High Court advocate Saurabh Kirpal, Andhra Pradesh High Court Advocate Dr K Manmadha Rao and Judicial Officer BS Bhanumathi’s names have been recommended as judges.
According to the website, names of eleven advocates have been recommended again to elevate them as judges in different High Courts.
They include Delhi High Court lawyers T.V. Gunjan, Anish Dayal, Amit Sharma and Mini Pushkaran; Sachin Singh Rajput (Chhattisgarh High Court); Ananya Bandyopadhyay, Rai Chattopadhyay, Shubhendu Samanta (Kolkata High Court); Shoba Annamma Appen, Sanjitha Kallur Arakkal and Arvind Kumar Babu Thavarakkattil (Kerala High Court).
The Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting held on November 11, recommended and re-recommended these names.
